Is that pain that is going down my leg?
What is it?  It comes from the sciatic nerve.  It can even cause one or both of your feet to start to have a feeling of numbness or tingling.

Do you have any of the following symptoms?

  • It can be even worse than pain. At least with pain, you are still having a sensation. Numbing is a sign of an advanced condition.
  • A Burning or radiating feeling going from the buttock into the back lateral part of your thigh.
  • Low back that favors only the side of the radiating pain or numbness?

Numbing is LOSING the ability to feel.
That is very serious! What triggered this nerve to “act up”? Without question, it is something going on with the spine in that area. A spinal diac may even be involved.

The sciatic nerves get their origin in the low back.
If the spine is out of alignment, or there is a problem with the disc in lumbar area, this can press on the nerves and can directly cause sciatica. That is what triggers sciatic pain.

Who are the leading spine experts?
Chiropractors! Before you consider continuing to live on with the pain, (which isn’t just ignoring the problem, but allowing the pain and symptoms to progressively get worse), check out Dr. Chris Hawn and see how people just like you have had their sciatic problem resolved in a very short time. Sciatica is a common condition for which people seek out chiropractors. The doctors see sciatica patients in their office every day and they do so without any of the harmful and possibly permanent effects of drugs or surgery.

Medical doctors don’t really know how to treat this condition. That is why their protocol is usually pain pills, muscle relaxers and just go to four weeks of physical therapy which will only aggravate the condition. Physical therapists are not trained in correcting vertebral subluxations and especially not in conjunction with  disc conditions that cause the problem.

The most natural, non-invasive and conservative thing to do would be to get your spine checked by Dr. Hawn and eliminate whatever is putting the pressure on your sciatic nerve in the first place. It could be a contracted piriformis muscle, pinched nerve, swollen disc or a combination of any of these. Alleviate that, and your body will heal naturally. Mess around with it do the wrong thing and you will have pain on and off for years.

Remember, chiropractic doctors help people without drugs and surgery. So find out about it for yourself before you have another round of pain and before your condition worsens.
